Welcome to Qhmer’s official website. We are a newly formed grass root organization aimed to create a safe and positive space for our LGBTQ family and our alliances. As our organization continues to grow, we are committed to honoring and embracing everyone’s sexual preference and sexual identity. We strive to remain adaptable, motivated, and responsive to the growing need of an LGBTQ friendly space specifically in the Cambodian/Cambodian-American community. 

Our main priority is offering a positive place for LGBTQ folks to unapologetically share their stories without judgement, and offering a (online) resource center for folks to utilize no matter which stage they are in life. We hope that the stories shared on this page will empower others. 

We developed this organization and this resource with the entire community in mind so are excited and thrilled to meet/work with anyone interested, whether they identify as LGBTQ or not. We look forward to working with those who are interested in this issue and looking for more ways to get involved. Qhmer strongly believes by working towards this community issue together, we can find a solution.
